When I think of my body changing I think of it as a chemical communicator that carry messages throught our organs in the body and connects one function to another to keep the body balanced.

Myth:We often think that hormonal issues can makes us fat.
Fact: By taking hormones it does not cause weight gain. Loss of our premenopausal hormonal balance does. It is the imbalance that leads to gaining fat around the middle of your body.
Myth:Does it cause cancer?
Fact: No hormones does not cause cancer. There is no proof or data to show that hormones actually causes cancer. Estrogen and progesterone may contribute to the growth of existing cancer.
Myth: Some say that I am too young to need hormones.
Fact: Many women at any age can have a hormone imbalance that cause them to gain weight.
Myth: I am still having periods so I can't be having hormone problems.
Fact: The truth of the matter is--is that you may be in the late stage of transition from your reproductive years to menopause.
Myth: I am too old to start hormonal health.
Fact: You are never to old to start to improve your hormonal health. It can contribute to the improvement of the sweats, fatigue, mood swings, and many of the symptoms that come along with hormonal changes.
Every woman's needs are different. Your body and health issues are different as in your lifestyle. Therefore, you must know what is best for you.
Strategies for feeling better
When you are experiencing hormonal changes there are a few steps that you can take to make you feel better, Something as "simple" as changing the way that you eat can improve the way that you feel.
1. Avoid sugars, artifical sweetners, diet drinks and drink water instead.
2. Cut out caffeine and alcohol. It can make you irritable and interfere with optimal fat-burning pathways.
